Information we do not collect
You do not need an account to use Tigadi, and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number or any other personal details in order to play or read. We do not sell personal information.
Information stored in your browser
Tigadi uses your browser’s local storage — a small store on your own device, similar to a cookie — for the following, and nothing is sent to us when it is saved:
- Your game in progress and your settings, so a match survives a page reload.
- Whether you have already seen the introductory tutorial.
- For online games, a random seat token that lets you rejoin a room you are playing in.
You can delete all of this at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for tigadigame.com.
Online games
When you create or join an online room, the state of that game — the board position, the moves played, and random tokens identifying each seat — is stored on our server so both players can see it. No names or contact details are attached to a room. Rooms are deleted automatically six hours after their last activity.
Analytics and server logs
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and understand which pages are useful. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites; it records aggregated information such as the page visited, the referring site, the country, and the type of browser and device.
We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are read, how long people stay, and roughly where they come from. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) and collects information including pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, and your browser and device type. We use this only in aggregate to improve the site; we do not use it to identify you. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by installing Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Like nearly every website, our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps short-lived technical logs of requests — including IP addresses — to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose errors.
Advertising and cookies
Tigadi is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. These cookies may collect information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, and Google may use device identifiers for the same purpose.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info. If you opt out, you may still see ads, but they will not be personalised. Where the law requires it — for example for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — we ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown.
Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking cookies will not stop you from playing Tigadi.
Children
Tigadi is a family-friendly game suitable for all ages, but the site is not directed specifically at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how it is used. Because we do not keep accounts, we usually hold nothing that identifies you, but we will answer any request sent to the address below.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the site changes; the date at the top always shows the latest revision. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to wildlittleones.media@gmail.com.
